Johanna Arnold

Johanna "Hanna" Arnold was a sister of Margaret Arnold Welch. Johanna lived at 99 Gainsboro St. in Boston and travelled to France in 1919 as a Knights of Colombus Secretary. Hanna lost two nephews in the war. She was granted an audience with the Queen of Belgium at the home of Breckenridge Long, Assistant Secretary of State and thanked for her work. While in Paris, Miss Arnold looked after the interests of young soldiers.
