Hildred Welch

Daughter of Capt. Marty Welch and Margaret Welch, Hildred C. Welch was born July 15, 1893 in Gloucester, Massachusetts. Hildred was a nurse, and was credited with helping her brother Everett recover from an airplane accident. Hildred Welch married Joseph S. McGrath and they lived for many years at 59 Western Avenue in Gloucester, across the street from the Fisherman's Memorial Statue. Hildred Welch McGrath died May 16, 1976 in Gloucester, Massachusetts.
