Second Lieutenant Edwin Brown

Edwin died 1 November 1918, on the eve of his transfer to Europe. The book "Gold Star Record of Massachusetts" states, "Lieutenant Brown invented and perfected a more efficient system of sighting machine guns, and wrote a book on gunnery which is accepted by the War Department as an authority on the subject".
